Following the success around the NHS 70th birthday celebrations, all NHS Charities have come together to celebrate the good work they do to support their NHS Hospital Trust's. Therefore on and around the NHS's birthday of 5th July, this is the start of an annual campaign, asking our community to raise a cuppa to help fundraise and raise awareness of the good work carried out by the hospitals and their charities.

Valley Hospital Charity raises funds to enhance patient care at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. Be it through buying new state-of-the art equipment, enhancing the environment, or providing the little extras that can make a patients stay in hospital more comfortable, the Charity is there to add the icing on the cake, rather than take the place of the NHS budget.

The humble cup of tea has a long and proud associations with the NHS. Originally served to patients in traditional fine cups with saucers and side spoon, tea was considered an important aspect of patient satisfaction and recovery. Tens of thousands of patients enjoy tea in NHS hospitals, clinics and GP surgeries every day. Tea brings us all together.

We want you to host your own NHS Big Tea Party, to help celebrate the NHS through bringing friends, families and colleagues together, to fundraise and raise awareness of the great work being carried out now at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust to benefit the treatment of you and your family.
