Bexley and Sidcup Lions make another wonderful donation

The Lions have once again had their walking boots on and raised a fantastic £500 for the Stride4 Life Cancer Fighting Fund and an amazing £1,500 for Prostate Cancer Research!

Lions President Baldev Bahra and his colleagues presented the cheques to Professor Madaan, Consultant Urological Surgeon & Lead Cancer Clinician, and Mark Cullen Community Fundraising Manager outside Darent Valley Hospital.

Professor Madaan expressed his profound thanks for the wonderful support the Bexley and Sidcup Lions continue to give our Cancer services over many years, and Mark Cullen added Valley Hospital Charities own thanks for their wonderful support of our Cancer patients. Thank you so much!!

Dartford & District Nurses League visited Darent Valley Hospital to donate to Silver Birch

The ladies are a group of ex Nurses and Midwives whose association is coming to an end with the closure of their League. One of their final acts was to donate an amazing £1220 to our Silver Birch Fund to benefit our older patients.
