Sue Robinson visited Darent Valley Hospital on Friday 31st January 2020 to present a cheque for £1,596 to staff (Mike Protopapas - Consultant, Alison Saunders - Sepsis Nurse, and Maria Crowley - Matron) on ITU (Intensive Care Unit) to thank them for saving her life after being diagnosed and treated for Sepsis in 2018.

Sue organised a sponsored walk during 2019 which she and a few friends took part in, including Andy Silver who kindly visited with Sue, to raise a total of £2,241 for the Unit, including money raised online through a fundraising page and offline.

The Staff shared their gratitude with Sue for her generous gesture, and Sepsis Nurse Alison gave Sue a Sepsis Star pin badge. Again Sue thanked them for saving her life.
