Mum was admitted to Laurel Ward suffering from Covid 19. The care she received from the Dr’s and nurses was amazing. They went above and beyond in the care Mum received. As we were not able to visit Mum due the Covid, the nurses arranged video calls. It was wonderful to see and talk to Mum. I could see she was comfortable although I don’t think she had any idea how poorly she was.I was able to tell her how much we all loved her and missed speaking to her everyday. One of the nurses, Sarah was with her and held her hand as she just went to sleep peacefully. We as a family are so grateful for how the staff of Laurel ward cared for Mum and looked after her just as we would have done.
