A dozen intrepid consultants and 1 manager, some of them are themselves COVID survivors, have decided to train to become fit again. They are training for a 68 mile cycle trip from Darent Valley Hospital where they work to Brighton on Saturday 26th September 2020.

For most this is a once in a life-time adventure. They are all quietly training despite their busy work schedules, at their own pace and in their own time. A number of training rides over several weeks has seen them achieving their own personal goals, building from 25 miles to the latest ride of 42 miles. Their selflessness should be supported and applauded.

Darent Valley Hospital's expanded Stroke Unit, catering for 400,000 people living in Dartford & Gravesham and South-East London, needs all the help it can muster. The monies raised will help to purchase much needed monitoring and other equipment to provide exemplary care.

The Darent Dynamos have raised a fantastic £10,771 so far!
