The decision was taken by several parties after monitoring this weekend's weather forecast which has consistently shown yellow weather warnings for the whole weekend featuring heavy showers and thunder/lightning. The only vehicular entrance to Manor Field remains damp from Tuesday's downpours and with heavy rain forecast over the weekend we have been advised that no parking would be able to take place on the field because of the damage it would cause.

Anyone with tickets for the event can still use them for the new date, if you're unable to attend the new date you can claim a refund from the source where you bought your tickets. Proceeds from any tickets not used or claimed back will be donated Valley Hospital Charity who are the chosen charity for the event.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Many people in the area will remember The Hartley Jazz Picnic which took place on Manor Field in Hartley for many years every summer. We are delighted to announce that the event has been reinvented as ‘The Hartley Music Festival and Picnic’ and returns this summer in support of Valley Hospital Charity! Organised and sponsored by The DA3 Post, the event takes place at Manor Field, Church Road, Hartley on Sunday 25th July 2021.

Featuring Shane Hampsheir & The Mike Richards Big Band + special guest Lance Ellington of Strictly Come Dancing Fame and The Front Room Singers! Spectators are invited to bring their own picnics, tables, chairs and gazebos and enjoy a great afternoon of live music and entertainment.
