I have decided to do a sponsored head shave to raise funds for the SCBU at darenth Valley Hospital. I have chosen to do this because my youngest daughter was born prematurely at Darenth Valley Hospital at 34+4 weeks and thanks to The SCBU Walnut Ward, my daughter was giving the right amount of extra care to give her the best fighting start to her life. She is now happy and healthy

I know how scary it is to have a premature baby and I want to raise as much money as a possibly can to ensure that other parents and their premature baby’s are guaranteed the best and strongest start to their child’s lives. I am aiming to raise £500. I will shave my head even if I do not make the target. If I can raise £1000, I will shave my beard completely as well! Ryan King
