On Monday 21^st January 2019, Louise Ashley, CEO and Peter Coles, Chairman at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, invited Heather Phillips, Amy Tebbutt, Iris Treliving, Elizabeth Wells and Jill Sowle to enjoy tea/coffee and cake with them in Louise’s office.

These particular volunteers have been helping at the Hospital since it opened in 2000, and some also volunteered at Joyce Green Hospital before it closed, when services were transferred to Darent Valley Hospital.

Louise and Peter served the ladies, whilst finding out about their time volunteering at the Hospital, what their first days were like, and how things have changed since they first started. Ultimately, it was an opportunity to say a big thank you and show appreciation for all of the help they have given to the Trust and our patients.
