Enhancing patient care

We use your generous donations to help enhance the patient experience at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, be that introducing some of the most innovative and advanced equipment to treat a variety of illnesses, creating welcoming and comfortable environments for our patients and their families, or funding research and teaching to provide to improve the quality of care provide by our staff. Valley Hospital Charity is here to support our NHS Trust to provide the extras not possible through the NHS budget alone.

The Covid-19 pandemic has shone a light on NHS Charities and the positive work we do. Our Trust staff are passionate about their work and strive to excel. It is their passion that brings requests for funding to the attention of the Charity Management Board. These can be requests for new equipment to provide treatments or services not currently available for our patients at our Trust, or additional equipment to help speed up waiting list times, or implementing projects following patient feedback.
