Little Buds Fund finances groundbreaking Home Phototherapy Kit for babies

Phototherapy is a treatment with a special type of light and it is used to treat newborn jaundice by lowering the bilirubin levels in a baby's blood through a process called photo-oxidation.

Kim Roper-Jeal, Sister for Neonatal Outreach Team has been working extremely hard over the last year on the Home Phototherapy project and was delighted to share photographs of a grateful family and the Kit in use.
