On Monday 3^rd June 2024 we were delighted to welcome The Worshipful the Mayor and Mayoress of Dartford, Cllr Andy Lloyd and his wife Diane, to meet with staff and patients on Walnut Ward, our Special Care Baby Unit. We are extremely grateful that the Mayor has chosen our Little Buds Fund as one of his Mayor’s Charities alongside 3^rd Dartford Scouts, both of which are causes close to his heart.

 Hayley Lazell and Gary Clark were kind enough to allow us to meet their beautiful twins, Audrey and Spencer, who were born at 33 weeks and being cared for on the Unit.

We look forward to promoting and supporting the Mayor’s calendar of fundraising events, so we can raise as much as possible to support the special care of babies at Darent Valley Hospital. His first fundraising event is at Efes Turkish Restaurant in Dartford on 13 June.
